When the software ink monitor shows the ink level of a cartridge at empty, there is still a small amount of ink left in the cartridge. This is done to prevent the print head running dry before the software indicator goes empty. The printer will stop printing to protect the print head. However, a small amount of ink is thrown away with each emty cartridge.
Our cartridges are re-usable, so you are able to use all the ink you put in the cartridges.
