Leave a gap between the resetter and the Efillink cartridge to line up the contacts and pins. The LED will turn red to solid green after the chip is back to full.
The resetter will reset both Epson chips and 3rd party chips sold on this website. We do not gaurantee it will work on other 3rd party chips sold by other suppliers.
What is the difference between our chip resetter and the other resetters sold elsewhere?
Beginning with the introduction of the Epson R1900, almost all the late model Epson chip will not reset unless the ink level LED is on. Which means the reset must be done at the time when the chip ink level is low or there is a chip error. What if you want to reset the chip when the chip ink level is not empty? For example, when using a CIS, the cartridges are kept filled. But the chip ink level requires frequent reset because they do not go down at the same rate. One chip might require a reset soon after a recent chip reset. This often cause frustration because sometimes the printer can only print a couple of prints and the chip must be reset again.
Our resetter will let you reset all the chips at the same time, even when the low ink LED is not on. The entire set is set back to full and you have a complete set of full cartridges to last you another 20 or more full page photos without resetting the chips.
No more stopping to reset a chip only a couple of prints after a recent chip reset.
Here is one more advantage for having the ability to reset all the chips at once:
After a chip reset, the printer will initiate an auto head clean. This head clean runs pumps out ink from the cartridges. By resetting all the chips at the same time, the frequency of the auto head clean is reduced by 80%. One head clean instead of eight.

This resetter will not reset a chip if the cartridge LED is not on.
